Jeff Blumenfeld is editor and publisher of Expedition News. Blumenfeld is a member of The Explorers Club, former chairman of its public relations committee, and writes quarterly for The Explorers Journal. He is also a member of the American Alpine Club and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
A specialist in adventure marketing, he's traveled extensively throughout the Canadian Northwest Territories, Argentina, UK, and Iceland, and provided support to the Bering Bridge Expedition which departed by dog sled from Anadyr in the (then) Soviet Far East.
He's a graduate of Syracuse University, and is a former adjunct faculty member of New York University's School of Continuing Education/Management Institute. An avid skier, sailor and sea kayaker, he resides in southern Connecticut.
